The River Centre offers a welcoming food and drink experience from the moment the doors open to the time daily activities officially complete. Our aim is to provide comfort, convenience, and connection—whether you’re starting your day with friends, taking a brunch break after a bike ride, or simply enjoying a quiet moment while waiting for a loved one to finish an activity. No more sitting in the car trying to keep warm; instead, the Centre invites everyone to relax in a warm, community‑minded space.

Downstairs Café – Wholesome and Affordable
The ground‑floor café offers a streamlined menu focused on affordability, nourishment, and simplicity, with a thoughtful selection of meals, small bites, and cold and hot drinks. It caters to the cafe, and the front, side, and back terrace, and it is licensed.

The Nosh Nook – Snacks for All Ages
Upstairs, the Nosh Nook will provide a cheerful snack station designed with all ages in mind. Positioned next to the Sky Deck and easily accessible from the play areas, it will support both quick refuelling and relaxed grazing.

The Sky Deck – Day and Night Social Space
The Sky Deck will offer a welcoming environment for both daytime and evening enjoyment. With drinks and light bites available, it will serve as a relaxed social spot—perfect for adults, friends, and community members seeking a comfortable place to gather. Oh, and it has a great river view!

Hydration Zone
Within the soft play area, a dedicated hydration station will ensure that children and adults can stay refreshed and energised throughout their visit. This simple, child-friendly feature supports wellbeing and helps keep little explorers going.
